What Kind of People
We are different from many manufacturers in that we specialise in small to medium volume of high precision work. As such we find that many Millers and Turners who are used to longer production runs often struggle with the challenges of working at Bronte. We are looking for people with extensive experience of machining who are used to working in a fast paced environment and one key element is being able to handle a varied workload. No two days are the same here and that means setting up multiple jobs in one day. We look for team members that can manage their own workload, can take initiatives and solve problems.
As you might imagine, we get a lot of enquiries from recruitment agencies. Our standard terms for any agency are £1000 a placement paid over 10 weeks. We appreciate that for many agencies this is not viable and would not like to waste any of your time. Typically as a small company with a team of around 30 we do not have a large budget set aside for recruitment and so most often we will advertise through free channels.
